baukreativ AG designed Flagship – Store

In the centre of a very big city in Germany, an international brand company in the luxury segment planned a new outlet center. The outstanding architecture and the technical equipment was realised by the company baukreativ AG. The specialised service provider from Endsee near Rothenburg o. d. Tauber managed to integrate the technical, functional and economical demands into an aesthetic overall plan and realised it accordingly.

In the 70s, the constituent of this project started in the consumer market.

In the aftermath the range opened up into various product lines. As a consequence, they had to open up their own shops in order to enlarge the high profile of their brand.

While the first outlets overseas and in Germany had different shopfitting systems and designs, the company introduced a consistent concept which was presented first at the openings in London, Paris, Amsterdam and Buenos Aires. Throughout the last eight years, 200 new shops were set up.

“Quality without compromises and continuous innovation“ – that is how the constituent characterises himself. These attributes also apply to baukreativ AG which had successfully developed technology and equipment for another branch and was now assigned with the new project.

Baukreativ AG is specialised in facility and property management as well as shopfitting of the retail industry and their branches in Europe. According to the client´s demands, the service range reaches from the planning right to the full handling of all maintenance groups both for new buildings and
modernisations or reconstructions. Their offer also includes all necessary services for the operation and support of the branches. Maintenance groups and their qualified employees from all over Europe and baukreativ AG have been partners for many years. Besides the highest technical quality, experience in reconstruction, punctuality and flexibility are the most important criteria baukreativ AG’s partners have to fulfil.

One reliable partner for all branch offices

We managed to do that successfully in this first branch office for our client and this success forms the basis for the advancement of our business relations.” Baukreativ AG did not even have to participate in a new bidding – the client assigned baukreativ AG as a partner for all their branch offices in Europe. Both the detailed and qualified advice and the
attractive price-performance ratio were reasons for this. In the preliminary talks the client pointed out his demands: The most important demand was punctuality. The adaption to and the realisation of the client’s demands according to the special building situation were just as important. Decisions
concerning a lot of details had to be made quickly and on-site. Still the person in charge had to keep track of the whole project at all times.

The arrangements for the daily business of this project were made between the client’s management and the baukreativ AG’s project leader Christian Pelz. As a site engineer he has a lot of experience in shopfitting, but also in planning and construction actions.

A planned staff kitchen becomes a VIP-lounge

The actual project started after the demolition of the old building and with the installation of a bearing concrete skeleton into the gap in the row of houses. Baukreativ AG also coordinated the works for the facade pointing to the pedestrian precinct. On the ground floor of the new building a saleroom and a
lounge in the rear was built. The story behind this VIP-area: For the first branch in this city Christian Pelz had proposed a neat meeting room with exhalted equipment and a kitchenette instead of a kitchen for the staff as the client had planned it. He presented the plans after investigating the demands for both possibilities in detail and integrating them into one room. The result convinced the client and so Christian Pelz was assigned to prepare sketches for the interior design and the furnishing. This is how the first VIP-lounge was built in this client’s outlet-shop.

The saleroom on the ground floor remained the only room in the whole building that the client planned together with his own interior designer following the valid shopfitting standards of their branch offices.

However, baukreativ was the interface who coordinated and scheduled these works with the construction schedule.


Baukreativ AG organises all actions

The first floor was prepared for a second saleroom. A partner of baukreativ AG layed the utilities for power, telefone and air conditioning, etc. The second floor contained two social rooms for the staff and the warehouse. Baukreativ was also responsible for the sketches and the realisation of the fourth floor
where the mechanical floor was installed. The third floor remained unused. The plan was to establish flats for the staff there.

Baukreativ’s partners carried out all the interior work from the electrical installation to the ventilation shafts, the dry construction and the flooring. Christian Pelz managed and controlled all steps and actions and coordinated the processes so that the assignment could be completed in time and after
eight weeks of construction. The date for the official opening could be exactly kept.

One contact and one contract partner for the complete project

This precision, speed and reliability in carrying out actions is the criteria for the success of baukreativ AG which was founded in 1999. The fundamental basis is the experience in the reconstruction of branch offices for the most namable customers in Europe. Moreover, the company offers stable prices and – very important for the retail industry
– flat prices for defined works in every branch office.
